I know I’ve confessed my love for Google, but it has its limits. Like the phase of the moon today. Or how many feet in a yard. It doesn’t try to find a website to answer the question, or a million websites, WolframAlpha answers the question.
I came home today and my son was struggling with an equation in pre-algebra. I wasn’t 100% confident that I could solve the problem correctly, since my son argued with my answer. So, just for the heck of it, I put the equation in WolframAlpha and guess what? It solved it and showed its work.
Just for the fun of it type the following equation in Google search and the other in WolframAlpha: n/3+9=3
Big difference. Nothing like the beautiful elegance of a computational knowledge engine.
Nice article thank you for sharing!
Calculus with WolframAlpha is terrific! I usually spot my mistakes thanks to it..damn…cheers from Italy
